This policy describes what information is handled when you read klobexjournals.com, how the operator uses it and what choices you have. The operator is the person or organisation running Klobexjournals, and in this policy “we” means that operator.

Visit logs

The servers that deliver our articles about journals, agriculture and bioscience keep routine logs. An entry may contain your IP address, the time of the request, the page you opened, your browser and device type, and the page that sent you here. We use these records to keep the site running, to find faults and abuse, and to see broadly which research topics readers open most.

Cookies and similar technology

Pages about journals and research may set cookies or use comparable browser storage. Some are required for pages to display properly. Others, where enabled, count audiences, remember a display choice, support advertising or note which link led you to an outside publisher or supplier for affiliate attribution. When a cookie comes from an advertiser or analytics provider, that provider decides how it is used, under its own published notice.

Controlling tracking in your browser

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, browse privately or add extensions that limit tracking. Where your browser sends a do-not-track or global privacy signal, we treat it as an opt-out request where the tools we use can honour it. If you block everything, an embedded chart or a saved display setting on a research article may stop working.

Emails and forms

If you write to [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you include. We use it to answer you, to check and fix an article and to keep a record of the exchange. Your email stays between you and the operator, and a quote from it would only appear on the site after you agreed.

If you point out an error in a study summary, we may keep your note alongside the correction so that we can verify it.

Newsletters

Should we offer a mailing list for new write-ups on journals and studies, the address you enter is used to send those updates and nothing else. You can leave the list whenever you like by using the link in a mailing or by emailing us a short request.

Outside services

Operating a research-focused site involves outside providers. These can include hosting and delivery networks, analytics tools, advertising and affiliate networks, and embedded items such as charts, videos or maps. They may receive technical data about your visit so that their service works, and they handle it under their own policies.

Retention

Raw visit logs are held only for a short working period before we delete them or keep just aggregate counts of article views. Emails are kept while they help us answer you, correct a page or meet a legal duty, and are then deleted.

Your choices and requests

Depending on your location, the law may let you ask for a copy of the personal information we hold, request that it be corrected or deleted, object to particular uses, or take back a consent. Children

Klobexjournals is written for a general and largely adult audience of students and researchers, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not gather information from children on purpose. A parent who finds that a child has written to us can ask for the message to be erased by emailing us.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, such as using secure connections and limiting access to the inbox. Because data sent across the internet can never be made fully safe, we cannot promise that it will never be exposed.

Data crossing borders

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, where the rules may differ from those you are used to. Reading the site from any location means your visit data can be handled in those places.

Updates to this policy

This policy will be revised when the site, its tools or the applicable law change. The effective date above shows when the current version began, and continuing to read Klobexjournals after a change means you accept the revised version.
